Port Phillip Automotive is one of the only local mechanics that can provide a complete road worthy inspection assessment for your vehicle. In Victoria, before any vehicle can be sold, it must under go a roadworthy inspection and driving test before it is deemed safe.

A roadworthy inspection covers the major safety related items, including:

Seats and seat belts
Exhaust and Emission controls
Wheels and tyres
Steering, suspension and braking systems
Lamps and reflectors
Windscreen, and windows including front windscreen wipers and washers
The structure of the vehicle itself
Safety related items on the body, chassis or engine

Your entire car is assessed from front to back to ensure its suitable for driving.

My Nissan Patrol kept having engine check light come on and it would constantly go into limp mode. The car had logged several codes and Nissan told me that the car would cost approx $6000 to repair. I got a second opinion through Chris, and within 3-4 minutes he found my supposed $6000 issue, it turns it out was a loose fuel line and it was a simple fix with a $1 hose clamp. Very happy with the outcome!
